Volvo have released their latest compact SUV, the luxurious XC60. The Volvo XC60 compares with BMW’s X3 and the Audi Q5. It is available in both petrol and diesel models. With a six-speed geartronic it allows you to drive the car manually if so desired. Economically it drives at a rate of approximately 11.9 litres per 100km.

For a compact vehicle it is quite spacious inside with a good sized luggage area. The back seats split into a 40/20/40 configuaration. Each section folds flat including the front passenger seat to allow for further luggage. The rear seats incorporate two child booster seats.

Volvo have introduced their new City Safety feature which is a laser-based crash prevention system. The system is aware of the car in front and automatically brakes if required.
