Subaru meet demand for diesel cars
Subaru introduced a diesel engine for the Outback late last year to curb the demand required from its customers. As a result one in three Outbacks sold are a diesel version, even though they are $2,500 more than the petrol version. This has shown Subaru that there certainly is a demand for diesel vehicles. To further meet the demands of their customers Subaru are introducing a diesel version of the Forester, a cheaper vehicle than the Outback. The diesel Forester will go on sale this month, just in time for the snow season.
