Hyundai are said to announce that their North American car of the year, being the Genesis Coupe, will be made into a right-hand drive version for delivery to other countries, including Australia.

It is rumoured that Hyundai will announce their decision at either the Frankfurt Motor Show in September or the Geneva Motor Show in March. It is believed that production of the new vehicle will start in 2011.

The Genesis was only launched 18 months ago and has received rave reviews. Following its success at the New York Motor Show winning the Car of the Year Award it has increased demand across the world for a right-hand version to be made.
