  • Mazda introduce diesel passenger car

We are consistently seeing that car manufacturers are constantly improving their vehicles to provide their consumers with more economical cars. As such Mazda have introduced their first passenger diesel car. The Mazda 3 now comes in a diesel version being the MZR-CD. The latest addition to the Mazda line up is even more attractive to consumers as it has a sporty edge to it. The MZR-CD comes complete with an impressive body kit which includes a front spoiler, side skirts and alloy wheels.

This latest vehicle drives particularly well as it is quiet and relatively smooth. Fuel consumption averages 6 or 7 litres per 100 km. Economic drivers could certainly reduce the fuel consumption to around 5 litres. To ensure such an economic drive the MZR-CD only comes in a manual transmission. Mazda are working on providing an automatic version but a release date is yet to be set.
